After an awesome 2 weeks of building, we have now marked the official conclusion of . We saw 20 unique projects from Web2 integrations to BOS, Dev Tooling, email, NFTs, election results, DAOs, reusable UI components, and examples with practical use cases. We even built together a hackathon within the hackathon. This included a hackathon gateway with resources, submissions, team formation, and events to facilitate a completely BOS-native hackathon. We encourage everyone to checkout the submission gallery at .
Prize Ceremony Video .
We look forward to seeing you at future hackathons! You can find more info at Let's continue the discussion at .
Depending on if you got a general prize, honorable mention, or incomplete project (to collect via deliverable) you must KYC through Banyan Collective, or a bounty (KYC with individual bounty sponsor), please contact Web3Plug (find on ) to claim your bounty.
Shoutout to the winners. There were alot of projects that showcased unique innovations on NEAR from BOS with contract integration, to extensions, to gateways, to indexers, and unique uses of the social graph. It has been rewarding to see innovation in the past two weeks, along with builders who are eager to
develop and sustain products addressing ecosystem challenges.
“Dapplets provides tools for embedding Web3 applications into any web page” Continuing from, at this hackathon, they focused on a new concept called Mutable Web. This technology allows any user to create a mutation of a page in a permissionless way and offer it to the community. The community can accept it as the default version of the page.
To be able to swap components they implemented the BOS Virtual Machine to renders these components. Additionally, they incorporated the capability to pass a configuration object containing information about the components that require modification, along with a list of replacements. data about components that should be changed with a list of replacements.
They also implemented a registry smart contract in which these overrides are stored. They then added a new view in our extension to give the user the ability to define a set of component overrides and create an altered website version in his browser.
NEAR monsters is a NFT collectible card game that leverages a combination of fungible token, NFT contracts, with gamification on BOS. This would be similar to opening up your own set of Pokemon cards.
A use case for local tokens that leveraged Pikespeak for fungible token indexer.
A gateway that implemented the mailchain SDK and added it to the VM to send messages on BOS and send emails when NFTs are minted
A gateway that implemented the mailchain SDK and added it to the VM to send messages on BOS and send emails when NFTs are minted
A new way to leverage social DB to create groups on BOS.
There were alot of projects that we know will continue working or shipped a simple project for this hackathon that we thought would deserve a little prize.
Has potential to display and navigate components and things as files. There is still a lot of improvement to go, but AKAIA DAO is an awesome group of devs and that have a lot of future plans to build this out.
Although this was submitted late, this is a pretty awesome plugin and part of a set of tools that @cuongdcdev.near has been building in the ecosystem. One of the biggest pain points we’ve been having with BOS is having native feedback and love to see the start of integration for Web2 applications.
A part of a longer project, this is a good example of composability on BOS,mixing NFT marketplaces, social feeds, EVM integration, custom social DB, and DAO components in one place to build a custom experience. @flowscience.near has been consistently coming to office hours and building everyday and we are happy to recognize his commitment to the ecosystem.
Although this is a simple weather app that pulls in an API. It is clean, responsive, and can be integrated into other applications.
A continuation of a build from Web3Hackfest, the use of a custom smart contract showed a lot of effort. The idea hase promise, but the overall UX needs to be improved.
Following deliverables need to be implemented, in order to claim $500 USDC
have a query of all attestations
have labels to filter on who is human or who is verified person
show preview of account profile card like in here https://near.org/genadrop.near/widget/GenaDrop.DAO.NFTMint
create a score based on attestations
create a leaderboard based on attestations
(optional) create some type of social graph mapping these attestations
@metaflow.near developed a way to create a form from an ABI. However, this process is currently clunky and can be automated to drastically speed up development.
Following deliverables to claim $500 USDC
Deploy to mainnet
Default contract address and abi so we can test this out without creating our own abi
Enable to generate ABi from contract address if available (check out https://workspace.web3client.app/)
A way to deploy the form to its own component
Please KYC with NDC GWG and hit up Kaz to claim bounties coordinating with Web3plug for approval and choosing this as evidence.
Creatives DAO 1st Place ($1200)
Creatives DAO 2nd Place ($800)
Creatives DAO 3rd Place ($500)
Creatives DAO 4th Place ($300)
Creatives DAO 5th Place ($200)
No one built anything significant for creative communities. As a result will be using these bounties to support specific creatives builders through the Creatives DAO builder groups in the upcoming quarters nearbuilders.com/tg-creatives
Indexer was offering $1300 in API credits. Unfortunately, no one utilized their API in any components.
Although this is a relatively simple integration, this is part of a dApp and we hope the team builds feature parity with on the bOS.
There are a few projects that had very simple implementations, but great ideas. In order to claim a bounty, a few adjustments must be made.In order to submit -> go to with the new deliverable within the next month.
@ilerik.near submitted as a simple attestation framework leveraging the social graph. This was a great start and can be used as the basis for a BOS oriented social graph system.
integrated the mailchain SDK. @mattb.near is currently working on fixes based on feedback on the submission.
As part of this, no one implemented a genadrop minter except matt.b.near for . He will be given a $500 bounty as he took his past GenaDrop SDK and implemented a MailChain integration through his gateway. The 2nd and 3rd place prizes will not be awarded.
All $1000 will be awarded. No one but @marior.near as part of tackled this bounty, but based on usage and integration with both Pikespeak and adoption, as well as history for being a BOS developer building things like and , we thought Mario deserved all bounties.
Only one candidate qualified as ReFi bounty. A combination of hypercerts and on-chain research forms, receives a $250 USDC bounty from NEAR ReFI DAO.
No one implemented a Proof of Vibes bounty the team felt was worthy. If you are still integrating and leveraging the social graph, check out these and hop in the. Although DataDAO/OpenCann implemented the feed, other than referencing the component there was not enough changes to warrant a prize
Example: upcoming need for a CreativesDAO passport for Eth Milan (). Contact if you have any interest
